James is a native of London, UK, and received his education in England before embarking on a diverse journey that led him to reside in South Africa, Australia, and the United States. During his ventures, he successfully managed multiple companies in the publishing and media sectors. Notably, he founded the PGA Golf Magazine in South Africa and achieved a remarkable feat by overseeing the creation of Africa's largest mobile outdoor advertising display.
In California, he is very proud to have organized the inaugural “Women and the Environment Conference” in Santa Barbara, which culminated in the creation of many new collaborations to ensure the safety of our environment.
Following the devastating fires and mudslides in Montecito, he was privileged to have been on the organizing committee of “The Kick Ash Bash.” The event raised $2.2M to purchase much-needed new equipment for the fire crews, including search, rescue, and recovery equipment and three new mobile command centers.
Throughout his life, James has had some remarkable highlights. He experienced the thrill of his first parachute jump at sixteen with the British Army, witnessed the historic moment when Nelson Mandela lifted the Rugby World Cup for South Africa, and cherished living in Western Australia, where the picturesque beaches stretch for hundreds of miles.
Currently based in Los Angeles, he wears many hats as a writer, artist, actor, and property agent.
